PuraEnviro is an innovative company in the field of recycling technologies. The company develops, builds, and operates organic waste conversion plants for the production of biochar, fertilizers, pesticides, foliage treatment, charcoal, activated carbon, and by-products for industries. Over the past few years, PuraEnviro technology has been developed by a team passionate about the sustainable economy. Our research has improved our understanding of technologies to reduce waste, sequester carbon, improve soils, and reduce the negative impact on the climate.
Our Goals
PuraEnviro carbon products are made from biomass waste. In addition to their agricultural uses, other products derived from the thermal conversion process have several industrial applications, among others. Sequestering carbon, producing renewable energy, and modifying soils to improve their characteristics are necessary actions to mitigate the negative effects of climate change. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to use renewable products, whenever possible, to replace fossil-based chemicals.
High-Quality Products
PuraEnviro products are of excellent and consistent quality due to the raw materials chosen and the processing technology we use. Our biochar, fertilizer, pesticide, foliage treatment, charcoal, and activated carbon products are derived from hardwood waste, prunings, and all types of uncontaminated biomass. The process uses high temperatures in a controlled environment that increases the carbon content and surface activation levels.
The raw materials selected for the production of biochar, charcoal, activated carbon, and liquid products come primarily from forestry and agricultural waste. Our advanced, environmentally friendly conversion technology emits no particulate matter and captures methane, preventing it from being released into the atmosphere.

Our PURAENVIRO macadamia shell activated carbon has very high hardness and is more abrasion-resistant than any other type. It is a completely natural and environmentally friendly product with a very low carbon footprint, as it is derived from macadamia shells. Since most of its porous structure is composed of micropores (more than 80%), macadamia shell carbon can effectively absorb impurities with a microporous molecular structure, such as those present in drinking water.

Its numerous internal surfaces, characterized by microporosity, in addition to its high hardness and low contamination generation, make our macadamia shell activated carbon particularly attractive for critical water and air applications, as well as for water filters and point-of-use respirators. • High surface area characterized by a high proportion of micropores. • High hardness with low dust generation. • Excellent purity; most products have an ash content of less than 3–5%. • Renewable and environmentally friendly raw material.
